There are several Nashville-area nursing education options. An MSN program with specialty options including acute care nurse practitioner, cardiovascular disease prevention and management, palliative care, clinical management/clinical nurse specialist, family nurse practitioner, forensic nursing, MSN/MBA dual degree, nurse midwifery, nursing informatics, and women's health nurse practitioner is available from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, which also offers doctoral and post-doctoral programs of study. Traditional and accelerated BSN programs are offered by Belmont University. Associate and bachelor degree programs, including an RN-to-BSN program, and an MSN degree program with family nurse practitioner and holistic nursing concentrations, are available from Tennessee State University.
